Winter Colour Palette Inspired By Nature

As winter finally settles in to our landscape, nature has revealed a beautiful palette of colours that draw us outside, and where we can find inspiration for our interior design projects.

Nature has a way of guiding us within each season’s natural landscape, with frosty landscapes, grey wintery skies and snow covered ground, mixed with deep red berries and frost covered flowers and hedgerows.

Introduce frosty blues, cool soft greys and deep indigo blues, alongside natural tones or muddy golds, that reflect the beauty of our winter landscapes. Soft dusky pinks can add warmth and textures to greys and cooler colour palettes. Deep dusky pinks can pop against darker tones too. I would really recommend long wintery walks with a camera, to really help inspire you when you arrive home.

Introduce frosty blues, soft greys, and pure wool fabrics that reflect the warmth and elegance of winter landscapes.

Soft dusky pinks and plump cushions are a perfect combination, that will add softness and warm accessories to any room.

Introduce shades of sage and cardamon and old golds, to olive and forest greens and earthy teal blues in the winter months.

These incredible burnt oranges and rusts are perfect to add a splash of colour amongst olive greens and earthy blues.

Winter interiors are rarely without these stunning richly warm deep reds and cranberries!
